I have been reading a couple of threads and searching online, but still confused which one to choose. I am looking at buying best dog food for my Labrador, but both look awesome. I found both brands at Petco through http://www.dealrocker.com dog supplies deal. Can anyone point me in the right direction and help me to choose the best one?
Any recommendation based on personal experience will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks..

I can only give you my personal opinion. My dogs did not do well at all on Royal Canin...neither the one I can get at the pet store or the RX one I can get thru my bet. Far too much corn in it for my liking. I want the first ingredient to be a meat product.

As for Eukanuba, I had a dog on it for a long time. She did very well on it too. Then I discovered that the parent company, Proctor and Gamble has ( perhaps had) some very bad animal testing issues. I won't support any company that treats their animals cruelly so my home because a P&G free house.

A lot of people I know feed Canadae, Orijen and Natural Balance. I feed a holistic food that is made here in Canada.

Good luck with your choice. Remember, it's your dog and what ever they do well on is what you should feed.

We feed Taste of the Wild Praire Formula. Have been very happy with it.

Dog food can be a headache and a touchy subject, but you've gotten great advice here already.

We feed Kirkland (Costco brand) Adult for Joe and their weight management for Java, they both are doing very well on it.

Like Judi said, go with what your dogs do well on, it may be a trial and error, but I agree with Judi, I want the first ingredient to be a meat product, neither of mine do well if there is corn in the food.

Mine are on Taste of The Wild also. Nikki has allergies and this seems to work best for her.

Alice have you checked out this site yet for food comparisons ?http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/ I feed taste of the Wild harley use to be onWellness but developed some problem with that one. There are so may out there its hard to decide but the main focus is to find one that works. I'd stay away from foods that have corn in it as may cause allergies. Let us know how your doing. And again
